O wow, what a beginning of a day!!!! In Murano Millefiori newsletter I am Artist of the Month!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy, it is such an honor for me!!!!!

This is the last pendant from the newest group I made lately.

I used these flowers second time, first I had two trees in the garden, now there is one big tree.

As usual, I played with the shots. I hope the flowers will make people happy!

This little tiny boat is a remainder for me.

I did not have lots of time to prepare pendants for art show and at the end I felt like I had to do as many as I could, I did not have enough time, I could not do new ideas… but I really wanted to do one more boat (not new idea but technique I was not very familiar with, new boat meant lots of time for cutting glass to fit into a circle pendant)… Finally I decided to go for my dream.

I had really nice time doing that boat. I was in right place, I fulfilled my vision. I found energy for new creations. I found I had to do new creations to be happy with them… and to do nice pieces.

I know I can not do everything what I want all the time but it is good to stop from time to time and remind myself about the goal

It is good to have dreams/ visions, to follow them and to try to accomplish them.

One more time stained glass relieved all the beauty when I cut it and showed the edges… All the colorful layers of glass, shiny surface….

It is another pendant for mosaic show, there are some more so day after day I will show them all.

One more time I used the beautiful Millefioris. I have them from Crystal from her collection (very nice of her) and they are my treasure. The circular idea is all what I love. The colors are so rich, so intensive.

Red is a happy color and today is a big day. My mom and niece are coming for a visit!!! So a happy tree for a happy day

This pendant is my “dream come true”. All what is important is in the shape of the tree. It is beautiful old tree full of memories, life experience and grace.

I put lots of my heart and my time in this piece. The light blue circle for background needed lots of attention. To cut a circle was not a big deal, I did it pretty fast… but that circle had to fit perfectly… I think I will have to buy a grinder… or maybe I should not do that. I always have more time to think about the design when I polish the stained glass…

I am really happy with the photos, too. It was just project perfect

Good news, I heard “YES” for my pendants. The manager from Cascade Glass Art Center agreed to take my work for her art show. It means a lot for me, when glass artist says good words about my work.

I do not have any philosophy for these pieces. I had some pendants and I wanted to do sets, or I run out of some colors and decided to do more jewelry.

I am preparing my jewelry for mosaic show. Tomorrow I will find out more details about it and the answer if my jewelry would be seen by others.

I had nice time taking these shots, I had to do lots of thinking to create new settings (the pink is a copy of earlier shots, the view is different). I spent two very effective hours and these four pictures are the part of result of my journey with camera

I had that smaller blank pendant for long time and I could not find pink rods to make a surprise for my daughter. At the same time I had my earlier composition with two flowers and she loved them a lot… Idea came in unexpected moment… I decided to make a set for us.

Gosia loves her own pendant and now we have matching jewelry.

I filled the blank pendants with two flowers from Italy and colorful glass rods.

The two pieces will go to Poland!!! My friend ordered them for her mom and mom in-law. It is amazing, my work will travel home. Thank you, Aneta

At the background I put our family sign my daughter’s teacher gave me today (you can see word Family). I was so touched by that gift. What a great idea. It will stay with us forever!!!! Tomorrow my little girl will graduate, she will be 1st grader…

My daughter graduates next Wednesday, so I asked the teacher about favorite color. It turned out blue had lots of fans.

Now, I am master in that kind of design I can do it with closed eyes… One piece after another brings fun to me.

Also taking pictures is easier and easier. It is a pleasure to see the results. I have to take tons of photos but anyway some of them are nice and it counts.

New frame is “under construction” and my living room is working area right now

I wanted to check new techniques and leave my safe zone. The little girl is only a beginning. It was nice to search for little figurines in mosaics, to check how people worked the subject out, how to shape the face, hair… It was really fun when I moved the hair up and by lucky accident the face fit perfectly (for me) by itself (I planned different setting ).

My lovely daughter came home and said “It would be my frame mom, please….” We will see if the final look satisfies my girl.
