I should finish pink box, blue frame or two pendants which are waiting to be glued… but not this time… This time I took paint brush into my hands and I made frames for my friend. The friend has beautiful hand made silk for sari… the pattern is perfect for as many different designs as you can imagine. I hope Pragya will be happy with the two frames. They were made with joy.
They are wood frames painted with acrylic paint and finished with varnish.
I have to find out more details about the paintings’ history, they are really old and very traditional. It would be good to have more knowledge about them.

The embroidary on the sari is called “Kantha”. The images are like the cave paintings.
