I promised to explain more about Picasso and the ideas in my head and I just had no time for that….
So, month later, this is Woman in a Hairnet by Picasso and my copy of it. After lots of research I found picture of the original piece and it turn out it was more green than yellow. So what, small detail will not destroy my happy mood
It was difficult to decide which color was the first one used, which part to paint first. I was sitting very close to the canvas and had the feeling that it looked like not the painting I tried to copy. After some time I took a break and looked at my work from distance and saw the face… face not only pieces… It was great to see my work had shapes and was recognizable.
I did not follow the original size and now I regret a little bit. I just did not expected my version would look good, good enough to stay with us for longer time…
I am glad I have not missed the exhibition in Seattle. Next time I will see it in Paris. Till the time, I will try to do one more copy of one more painting, bigger, more complicated. I am still not brave enough to have big canvas, but this one will be bigger anyway… Step after step and one day I will go for BIG.

The picture of original painting comes from : Auckland Art Gallery to Receive Gift Paintings by Picasso, Cezanne, and Matisse

I kept that piece in secret so my friend Crystal would not see it… good I remembered to give it to her… Almost two month later and it is the first time I am showing the Golden Fall here…
This time colors combination was set up by my husband! I wanted brown, he added gold…
We are better and better together.
One more success for us… Our Color Sprouts was chosen by LG for their LG Optimus 7 Color Sprouts for LG Optimus 7 !!!! Can you imagine people all over the world can color our drawings!!!!! It is SO great!!!!
I kept the best information for the end. I saw Picasso exhibition in Seattle… I did not expect I would like everything… and I was not prepared the art work would take me for a trip… I am so happy I saw Picasso’s work… so many pieces at once…
More details about the trip later…
All best for New Year!!!

I do not know when I will stop making them, but who cares about it… Most important thing is I have great time creating new visions of my signature tree and my friends love them and want to have the pendants
Someone would say “It is boring, one tree after another, all the time the same tree….” My answer is “Every time it is a new tree, new shape, new story, new friend who would be happy to have that piece, new joy”
I cut and shape the glass for background in no time… From 3 or 2 hours I came down to half an hour, so now it is a pleasure not hard job
The creativity starts when I start to put the flowers together. I like to transform my mood into the shape. I have quiet, happy, ready for challenges, romantic or friendly versions of the trees.
I wonder what color and shape I would use next time…

My live is spinning around faster and faster and it is hard to find minute for myself. Projects are waiting in my head but hands do not have time to make them… I need to end the break so my ideas could see the day light.
That project was planned by my husband and I think our family turn out to be a great team. I drew coloring pages and my husband wrote Windows Phone 7 application, our daughter was the chief tester

PINK is popular color… I totally forgot about that piece – Pink Pendant #7. Made for my friend Fio. When she had her birthday I had my first week at work and I could not prepare the gift, I could not meet her… So generally I wished her all best after her special day but I hope her favorite color and #7 will bring her luck.
It looks like I am almost done with organizing my life and I will be able to return to my mosaic frame soon…. A blond hair girl is waiting for mosaic sky and grass with lots of flowers – mosaic flowers of course
I should go back to glass shop in Redmond… I should be there one month ago but because I work at the time the shop is open, it is mission impossible for me…. Maybe one day will be the day.
Right now I have to focus to find the spare time to finish next project… I hope it will be soon

Since I have started working I changed my last name to Busy. Everything came at the same time… I miss things but I do not regret my choices and I enjoy the time now.
The job is a mix of my education (computer science), skills (my talent in my hands) and photography as the way to document everything what I do…. One project after another I go deeper in computers world with question what will be the next hardware I turn into pieces and check how it works… how to take the picture to show all the features, where to find more data about that item….
Today between one screw and another one I found out that I was dealing with 3D puzzles and the precision is exactly the one I like when I put glass shapes together… I know it is long way from optical drive mechanism to mosaic…. but I have never said I am as everyone….
Optical Drive Mechanism = Mosaic…. it is simple, do you see the connection

It did not take too long for me to return to my corner
My friend LeeAnn had birthday this week, so I prepared this small gift for her. For the first time after two months of break I made a tree – different than rest of my trees in the shape, new but old. It is a tree at the bank of a river…..
I am really busy with my new job. I hope soon everything will settle down and we find the balance to have time, be happy and enjoy the great time in our lives.
These pictures were taken earlier…

My mom and niece visited me this summer!!!!!!!!! We spent very nice time together, were busy and traveled a lot…. and at the end we had many memories to keep in our harts
I did not have time to do mosaic but I had one moment with my niece when we did jewelry together (I have no pictures
) She was really creative and I was proud of her. We did earrings and her creations were just gorgeous… mine – very simple (pictures later).
My ladies helped me to take care of my daughter when I started the first job in US… new challenge, exhausted body and excitement…. I hope after a while I will find time for my hobby and return here with new pictures and new stories…
For the beginning, mosaic from July made by all of us, filled with memories that will keep me alive to the next time I see my family in Poland.
